I have sent a mail to volker but i also want to write it here so anybody can help me. This is what had happened to my car:

Hi! My car doesnt start now!! I emailed volker my files in order to make an upgrade to my existing files and he answered me that my files were far short (60kb) and need to be 120kb so 1 hour ago i identified my car and downloaded my existing file to send it to him and after that i tried to start the car and oh surprise! It doesnt start! I tied everything rewrite my data, read it again, verify, and i get the same message: select the correct electronics.

What can i do??

 

That's interesting. My original file was 60k as was the MTH file Do you have the original file you e-mailed to MTH?

 

yes i got it but i cant upload it.

 

Do you have your key code? You need it to upload files.

Can you do a screen capture of what your software says when you try to upload and post it? If you hit Ctrl print scrn, then paste the image into an image program you can save it as a jpg then upload it.

Don't know if I can help, but I just had a successful MTH mod and it worked great. Maybe we can get some more help from others. Volker should chime in, but not until tomorrow. After all He's in Europe.

So - what was the problem? User error?

 

Good to hear it´s working now. File size should be: mim = +/- 200 bytes org = +/- 60kb. Some mail programs and/or hosts do not send the files through properly and we receive only half of the bytes. Just use another mail host if that happens.
