>>>Hey! You ordered a Midnight Shirt so you better be going<<<

Well, it was one of those things where the shirt needed to be ordered now or be s.o.l.

Would it count if I avoided the crowd and did it Thursday night?

koolmini,

We'd probably have 100 signed up by now, but I'm afraid too many people know you

We're going to let him go first so that he can clear (scare?) away all the night time woodland critters!

has anybody thought of how to work this if we get a lot of cars? with just a handfull of cars it's not too hard to keep track of who's coming and going, but with 40 or more....

I know this is an unsanctioned non-event, and nobody owns or is in charge of it in any way, but it might not be a bad idea to have some kind of plan with it, what with the technical aspect of driving the dragon at night and all....

Is there any cel phone coverage at either end? Maybe we could have a check-in/out just to make sure everybody that left the beginning makes it back and isn't lost over the edge of the mountain somewhere.

Might be more trouble than it's worth, but if I sneak out of the hotel while Kim is asleep to do this run, and something were to happen to me or the car, I'd want someone to at least have some idea of where my charred remains could be found.... and please, no scavenging of my car until my family gets a chance to recover it.

Any ideas? Good idea, waste of time? Volunteers?

And let's not forget about the party crashers who will undoubtedly show up!

koolmini, I don't think we will all fit at the overlook, so we should plan on going all the way to the large gravel parking lot to accommodate 50+ MINI's

Just got the final proofs from the printer for the Midnight T-shirts and they are going into production today!

Damn they look sweet!

Here's a full size pic of the small image on the front to get everyone psyched for some Dragon Slaying!

Aw c'mon Yucca!!!! We're not crashers. We may also bring along another Miata or 2 if they can stay up that late. Since we're bringing up the rear, we'll be the clean up crew but who's going to check on us!!!! Actually we'll really be in the MINI, he has a wonderful costume that looks just like a Miata. Hey, their the same color

Looking forward to meeting everyone,
Lois

Lois, you know you are welcome and we would be offended if you did not show up to play with us at Midnight!

But you do gotta sign up!

I'm considering mounting a set of those deer alert whistles on the bumper, but perhaps the MagnaFlow is enough to send waward critters running for the hills!

Hope we don't wake the bikers at the Deal's gap motorcycle resort!

You know, I haven't heard of any MINI's staying there for the Dragon!

Gary just put a dual Racing Beat exhaust on the Miata. It is LOUD

Hopefully all the deer will be sleeping by midnight.
