Reason for sale: I have 4 cars. It's gotten out of hand

Yes it's done the proper walnut shell blasting at dealer once, then a basic carbon cleaning recently. No CELs, issues, etc.

A bit interested if you can confirm it isn't a" track rat" based on your past posts of fun at Sebring !! Was the clutch pre or post track day(s) ? Any undercarriage/splash shield damage from Offs? I'm near Asheville, NC not too far from Knoxville if you're still in the neighborhood.

Definitely not a track rat, and no offs. It's a track-able daily. More of a Tail of the Dragon rat than anything. I haven't done a track day with it (only autocross) since clutch/LSD.

It is a great looking Mini. I had one very similar to that. I sold it to a guy and ended up have to work on it a few months trying to get it smogged. Even with a new cat!
I was almost ready to buy it back! Intake air leaks, bad cam vanos relays!

I actually smoke tested it for leaks and found that there was a small leak in my oil catch can! So that got fixed.

Vanos relays were replaced a separate time as well.

As for my cat, I know it won't pass California, but should pass the rest. I guess being in Southeast has its perks.

 

UPDATE - Mini needs an oil filter housing.

I need to pay back school tuition for completing MBA

External, but definitely both.

Has no MAF, with TPMS and CEL lights on. Exhaust isn't quite right and the tires are toast but you gave me a good deal.
P.S. Car was clearly overheated, melted valve cover underneath, one of the valve seats falling out, machine shop has the head. I've spent almost $3000 on parts, that does not include labor...car is still not back together yet. 6/17/2020
Edit- for the record, I got the car all together last fall, having spent even more money. It ran well for about 20 minutes. All new cooling system parts and it still uses coolant and overheats. I'm parting it out now.
