Definitely has to be real, because I have seen this up for sale a couple times before in the last few months... But I could also be completely wrong and someone is just toying with us

We have a big salvage industry around the Sacramento Area, A lot a Salvage Titles and other games. I would buy a private car off Craigslist in this area on a bet, you could get shot and loose both the car and your money. I could take to the industrial are and show you the salvage activity. This guy was up to something and got found out. Stolen car phony title you wouldn't know until you went to DMV

I don't know if I'd go that far and extreme saying that, but to each his own... Ive bought my last 4 cars (including my current MINI ~2 months ago) all off Craigslist, including lots of other items.

That being said, Craigslist is always a risk *knock on wood* but I have yet to have any bad experiences.

CL ads that say "don't waste my time" are often the code phrase for I'm going to screw you royally. Never had any success actually getting a real response from any of those douche bags for any items. They must offer a course at community colleges for thieves on how to write an ad to cheat your way to higher profits.

I wouldn't buy that car or almost any car sight unseen off Craigslist.. Wire them money and hope the car shows up in a week or two!!!! No way..

I bought a grill for my Expedition off Ebay and went to this industrial area to pick it up. I was shocked at what I saw and 40 small shop doing repair work on totaled car moving them form shop to shop and lot of high end cars not cheap Toyotas. A lot of them were on dolly's as they were moved around. It may be different in the Bay Area. These are insurance approve body shops and I bet some cars come for Storm damaged areas with VIN tag switching included. I have got some great deal off Craigslist but stay away from cars.
