I've seen this in person both before and after the rear seat add. This is one clean car.

 

Does the car have to be reclassified as a four seater somehow for insurance purposes? Looks like a really clean conversion.

I never really thought about the 2 vs 4 seat insurance aspect. I do know the insurance coverage and rates are based on the VIN so I doubt you could change that status (easily if at all).

The best thing for someone (who is interested in this) to do would be to call their insurance company and inquire.

Very cool. I wish you were in CA. I'd think hard about this car. When the vendor installed back seat were all of the mounts there and just unused? Put another way is the GP the same chassis as a regular 2013, but without the rear seat hardware installed?

Any cutting/drilling required to put in the rear seat?

When it comes to the installation details, I'd have to direct you (and anyone else interested) to TC Kline Racing because I know very little about it.

I currently have an active eBay auction (see "relisted" in previous auction link above).

By the way, I'm lowering my selling price above from $33,900 to $32,900.

I am the new owner of this GP. The truck is scheduled to drop the car off tomorrow. I couldn't be more excited to take delivery of this car! I should also add that MrClean614 is true gentleman and I have already mentioned to him that I look forward to buying a car from him again in the future; maybe that RS5...

As for the original GP parts, I definitely plan on keeping them with the car.
