Oscar is about flawless. He does however have a salvage title. I purchased the car new from the dealer in 2009 and his wreck was the easiest rebuild I’ve ever done in 30 years of being in the body shop business. Other than replacing front end sheet metal (including lights, grill, radiator support.... all these items bolt on), I replaced a $39 bumper bracket, a right lower control arm and pulled the pinch weld about a 1/4”. (NOT EVEN ON THE FRAME MACHINE)

There are no rattles, squeaks, tears or burns. The car still smells new. (mostly from the stereo place installing new carpet for the amp...lol)

This car has not been jerry rigged in the least, everything has been put back exactly as if it came from the factory.

Here is a link to the rebuild so you can see all pics of any damage and work being done.

You can contact me here or on my cell phone. (704) 882-1150

No, I am NOT parting anything out.

Thanks,

Mark

Actually, it’s the ultimate mini street car. Though I track the car (less and less it seems each year ) this car is perfectly content on the street. No squeaks, rattles, rides great.... definitely a fun car on the street.

Thanks,

Mark

Nice car dude. I recently saw it in some MOTD pictures and thought that I would love to have a MINI in that color. Unfortunately the timing isn't right for me but good luck with your sale!

Good luck with the sale! Looked good at MOTD! I told my girlfriend I wanted it, but she won't let me get rid of the GP :(

Wow a true Diamond in the rough here with so much attention to detail, I will spread the word where I can for someone to acquire a great bargain... My only question is what's your next project?

The ironic part? If I got rid of Oscar, I was looking at GP's...lol. I love my turbo but I miss the supercharger whine.

Thanks Boost... I don't know but I've been talking for a couple of years about taking a clubman and turning it into a pickup truck. I've got Oscar up for sale. If he sells, great, if he doesn't, I don't mind keeping him, I have zero issues with him, just looking for something new.

I'm thinking in either case, a pickup should be in my future.

If that would happen, I would be sure to post it here because I took the seats out and wrapped them in plastic. They're in perfect condition.

Oscar is legendary on this forum. A great build. I'd love to see interior shots. Anyone at all familiar with MINIs, knows this is huge bargain at what you are asking. Building it has certainly has been a labor of love, as opposed to a smart financial move. One of the 10 Best MINIs on the planet without a doubt!

2013 Porsche Boxster S. Won’t be here till August unfortunately... I’ve got plans for a first gen mini but I decided against it at the last minute. I don’t see any point in starting a project and then when the new car comes in, it’ll get pushed to the side for a while.

I'm so out of the loop on the newer cars. What are the turbo's putting down power wise with the common mods? I'm sure there's a few freaks that have gone full bore with headwork/hotter turbos/pistons etc up in the 300s... but that's pretty big coin for that sort of work.

I'm pretty torn.. I am considering a 2006 I found in detroit with only 7000 miles on it with a crazy amount of aftermarket love... but for the money I can get a fairly low mileage newer JCW. hmmm

It’s nothing to have 250 HP and 260FTLBS of torque at the wheels with nothing more than a tune, exhaust and intercooler.

The cool thing is the car is smooth, reliable and gets pretty well the same gas mileage as stock (almost)
