What, no offers? Dealer wants to give me $15,000 as a trade-in for a new '07 Cooper S. Anyone voice their opinion?

 

OK, maybe I'm asking too much? Sorry, I just love my car and think its worth more, but it certainly isn't worth the $10,000 CarMax just offered me. Thats nuts. I will take offers over $15K which is what the dealer is offering me on a trade in.

It is a private sale and the car is immaculate. No funky oders and no smoking, ever, in the car.

I had an issue with one of the xenons not working and was replaced last week by the dealer. Its been a great car. I just installed the iPod connection that works off the steering wheel, what a pleasure. The new cars have that option - for $600+!

 

No bites. Neither here nor the Trader. No offers, nothing. Looks like I'm trading in. Thanks to all that looked.
