I guess $19k is too much for a car that would destroy ANYTHING in the twisties. Go figure.
OK, so what is your point? Is this just a whine or are you looking for sympathy or looking for a buyer?

Have you advertised here?

give him a break

he is likely celebrating 4th of July at the moment. he needed some help resizing some pics, which I believe he got. I'm sure he will repost with good photos and mod list when he gets a chance.

To the OP - I recently had a deal worked out on a low option '05 with LSD and 20k miles for $20k. M7 AGS and M7 pulley were installed and included in the deal. $19k for an '02 anything? No thanks.

I've seen several '04 JCW's go for $22k as well.

Judging by the cheap wheels youve selected for your car, I guess 19 would be a bit steep for you. 02 anything? how bout an M3, Zo6, Z4, any 5 series, invalid statement. you shoulda jumped on the 05 instead of the goofy looking vert.02

NADA on the car is $17,925 for trade in and resale is 20,325. For a stock base car. This is the taxable value that my DMV uses. These numbers are based on what the average number of cars are sold for, and is the most reliable, up to date pricing guide in the industry. So by saying the car is not worth 19, is basically putting down everyone who frequents this sites' beloved little booger car. I would hate to see what is like to have a car payment, then be told book numbers dont apply to your .5 of a BMW. Lose a little, make a little its just to make room for something else. 19 is a lot of money to some people. To me it was just a fun little experience, but im easily bored. NNNNEEEXXXTTT........

no wonder you are having a hard time selling the car. I wouldn't buy anything from you given your attitude. Perhaps you should talk to your doc about some Viagra instead of trying to make yourself feel better by e-thugging here at NAM.

The Cabrio was bought prior to the '05 MCS we looked at. We are buying a second MCS....way to assume we are poor.

\/ guess you are referring to these? Yeah...don't judge a book by it's cover. They were a temp solution when the dealer delivered the car with summer rubber in error.

ASA,s? Please. I'm 27, Viagra is your hubby's bag. The car isnt flying out of my garage because its a MINI. Its seems if I have a nice '93 Fox body for sale with 40k and some minor bolt ons, you have to beat people off with a stick for $12-15K. No problem there. The people that are in to BMW's and eurotrash of the like, never have tangible, disposable CASH to spend. "let me check with my credit union, I've gotta go to the bank for a loan, blah, blah, blah..." Clean '93 Cobra for sale, red, 65K, no acc., $15k, dont even bother calling, it sold within the first 3 days. Typical. "97 M3, 40k, twin turbo, signed on dash by Michael Schumacher, $10, itll sit the for 6 mo. Typical.

Ahh...so that's your problem. Young and dumb and all about muscle cars.

You asked for opinions about why you can't sell your car. Perhaps you might want to listen. Or, is this thread just about bitching?

I guess Nolyaw

is just smarter than the rest of us and that his experiences are universal. We should all just listen and learn, because he is such a wise man with such tact and subtlety in vocabulary!

But I find myself wondering, why such a wise and knowledgable guy would post anything about this at all, unless is it just to educate us out of the kindness of his heart! Thank you for your efforts, Nolyaw!

I think it has been firmly established that Nolyaw is just your standard trashy hillbilly who cant manage to speak without cursing, probably has one of those stangs on blocks in the front yard now. throws every dollar he makes into cars that go down in value and calls mods investments, and yet he is still the smartest person he knows.....

I think it would be best if nobody else bothers to comment any further, It is clear that he is NOT looking for advise, he is only intrested in taking out his frustration with other owners

How can an 02 still be under warranty and why are you complaining about a 6 month old toy? You don't seem to worried about spending the money for more toys so why the grief over $1500?

I'm a little hurt. In the South, you put Firebirds (and maybe a Camero or two) up on blocks in the front yard. If you're really on top of it, it's the model Burt Reynolds drove in Smokey and the Bandit, complete with deranged chicken on the hood!
