Brake Pressure bleeder

Anyone have a brake pressure bleeder, the pumpup style I can barrow? I am changing my brake lines and want to flush the fluid at the same time with Ate Blue.

I have a Motive pressure bleeder if you need to borrow.

Have you used Super Blue before? I've had poor results with such, creating squeaks both in the clutch and brake pedals, and not performing well like other high-temp track fluids.

Are you going on the JB's MOL run Saturday? Do you think the Motul RF600 is a better brake fluid? It is a little more and that is the oil I use, or do you recommend something else?

I will not, but will be in south Fort Collins by 9am at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Saturday.

Its what I prefer; but do pick your fluid on what you need / desire.

It is on Sunday, I got my days mixed up. Says to meet at 9:15 am on Sunday. But I can still meet Erik on his way up to Fort Collins, even closer if he wants, like at highway 66 and i25

Is that the Lyons exit north of Longmont before it turns to two-lanes on northnbound I-25?

What is the part number on your Motive bleeder? Is it the 0100?

I bought an '04 R53 last week (first Mini) and will be doing front pads, rotors and replacing mismatched tires. Thought I'd flush the fluid too while all the wheels are off.

Thanks,
Tim

I checked the box, and the bleeder itself, and there's not a number to be found.
However, I know that Rich just used it on his R53 with great success and I use it on my VW's without an issue.

Tim, are you wanting to use it?

Hey, thanks for checking. I plan to buy one. It's gotta be the 0100 model.

Another option is the BavAuto version, here is their description
http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp

(Click for a larger image) Our exclusive design makes bleeding your BMW's brakes and clutch even easier! Our one-man brake bleeding kit keeps hydraulic systems pressurized and full of fluid while you purge the old fluid, along with dangerous moisture and air bubbles. New features include a quick-connect coupling that allows you to screw on the cap first, then connect the hose (instead of twisting the entire bottle around), and a button to safely relieve pressure in the system once you've finished the job. (No more brake fluid spraying all over as you unscrew the top.)
