Detailing help in Denver
Hey everyone!
I've realized I know nothing about how to properly detail my car. I've got some fine scratches (hardly noticeable, but still irritating) that I fear may be the result of my lack of skill in hand washing my car. I know some of you out there are very skilled in the detailing department and I'm hoping someone in Denver would be so kind as to help me learn how to care for my cars finish and maybe aid in getting those pesky scratches out.
Thanks!
Aaron

I've been known to do some detailing and I'm more than willing to show you a few things and even help get those irritants out. Drop me a PM and perhaps we can work something out.

Well, I totally missed out this past Sunday on a good detailing session with Chuck. I did however pick up a bottle of Prima's mystique as well as Hydro. Gave my car very good cleaning (using the 2 bucket method of course). Looks amazing...I'm definitely a Prima fan; I've still got much to learn but certainly am on the path. Let's hope it will stop raining so my car can stay clean for a day!
During MITM the master detailer Richard Lin (AKA OctaneGuy) will be in attendance. I cannot hold a candle (or Porter Cable Dual-Action Random Orbital) next to him. I'm sure he would like to talk to you or anyone else about the finer points of looking finer. He's even been know to take an appointment or two during the event to detail a MINI. So drop him a PM if you are interested.
I'll keep my detailing training sessions to the seedy back alleys and pool halls.

I would recommend Brendan McDonald as well (Apex Motorsports). He has done some great MINIs from here, as well as maintaining a fleet of amazing cars. I'll point this thread to him and I am sure he will contact you.
