CM Stripes...

OK we are looking for ideas as our CM is a blank canvas... it originally had white stripes on the bonnet but we had them removed cause they didnt look right... and stopped about 3-4 inches from the end of the hood. we want something sharp and eye catching... any ideas?

You could ask Mike from Aesthetic Creations, http://www.aestheticreations.net/, I believe he will be at MINIs in the Mountains again this year.

I am planning on getting my stripes done by Mike in August. He is the best.

I/WE face a similar problem with CM stripes. The factory stripes for the CM are a bit underwhelming.

An alternative source is where I found this side graphic, you could check them out and have a local do the install or brave it yourself.

I might hold until August on the CM and do Scooter up nice with something from Mike, I do like his work.

Here is the side graphic I ogled. HERE.

Navigate around the site, they do have some interesting items, too.

Now I am off to see what Mike has put up.

I second AC & Mike. It is nice to leave it naked and totaly un-MINIish for a while so you have time to dream, anticipate and then enjoy.

Yeah its kinda like getting it tattooed ... I want to make sure we like the end result! I like to go solid colors with no stripes but that got vetoed by the wife.... I just think it need something to tie the white top to the black body... maybe its just me but the contrast is a lil too much for me.

stripes

I am trying to decide which type of stripes to add to my hyperblue mini. not sure if i should go with the standard black stripe or something a little more fancy like tribal flame or checkered. There are so many choices!
