After Yalla Yalla
I'd first off like to express a profound gratitude to Chuck Maybee, Joseph and Cristina Konrad, Whitlow Wong, Robert Montoya and Stephanie Lemcke for all their help in creating and running this years installment of Yalla Yalla. Also for their behind the scenes help, Rick Gonzales, and Teena Craighill.
Next I'd like to thank everyone that attended, whether your experience was good or bad, whether you got lost or didn't. I hope everyone had a fun day, learned some things, explored some new areas, and made some new friends.
There was a problem on the route quiz, and we'd like to apologize for it if it caused anyone to have bad feelings in any way. While we tried very hard to make a YY that was different from the past, and put several hundred miles on our cars driving the route over and over to make it a solidified and seamless ride, we all failed to catch that one mistake. No one is infallable, and hopefully no one holds us to a higher standard, or thinks less of us or themselves over a minor point.
I'd like to thank our sponsors again, Winter Park, Original Wraps, Prima, Old Chicago, Tokyo Joes, Garbanzo's, OutMotoring, Coors, MINI of Loveland, Advance Auto Parts, Xing Tea, Rallye Coach Works, and Jaguar Denver for helping ensure everyone won today.
Everyone that attended walked away with a prize at the end of the day, and that is one of the things I tried to ensure would happen from day one. There are plenty of things that started out on the drawing board that either due to time or personnel constraints didnt make it into the final event, but again, I hope everyone had a good time, and that you'll either come again next year, or be on the committe next year.
