Do any of those need a plug?
I was looking at the OT-2 by INNOVATE MOTORSPORTS which would give me a water temp gauge and stuff like that, it's pretty much a scan gauge and I already have the phone mounted. The INNOVATE requires a plug for the OBD port and is WI-FI to the i Phone. I love the iPhone and all the extras you get with all the apps.

PLX KIWI WiFi
I've been using the REV iPhone app with the PLX Kiwi Wifi adapter that plugs into the OBD II port for a while. Once set up it gives you quite a bit of data and the ability to record it as well. It's a pretty cool gadget. http://www.plxkiwi.com/kiwiwifi/hardware
I haven't had the opportunity to use any of its code-reading or code-clearing functions or play much with air/fuel readings for the MINI yet, but it is supposed to be able to do all of that too.
Accuracy for testing lateral and acceleration G's is dependent on the initial physical position of the phone and then going through the proper calibration. I think that Dynolicious is the same. My phone mount is on the center console and I angle it toward me, so I'm not certain that it's too accurate given the position. Also realize that it needs to be calibrated when the car is on a flat, level surface (a bit easier said than done - I recommend finding a parking garage).
Using REV and being able to monitor up to five measurements simultaneously on the phone's screen is very cool. But make sure the phone is easy to view because that screen is pretty small. I hope that REV comes out with an iPad version!
As far as accuracy, mph and rpm readings seem to tie closely to the MINI's gauges. I have a Marshall boost gauge and REV tends to consistently read higher than the mechanical gauge, but this may be due to where the MINI takes the reading versus where the tap is for the gauge, or some mechanical loss between the tap and the Marshall gauge. I haven't verified any of the other readings.
All in all, it's a very convenient, very cool, little tool - and quite inexpensive when you compare it with some others that are out there. Plus you have the added benefit that as the programmers make changes to the iPhone software, you should get those for free!
I'll be sure to bring it with me to Yalla Yalla if anyone wants to check it out.
Cheers!

Alta AccessPORT
Oh, and be sure to check out the new Alta AccessPORT. There's a long thread on NAM here: Alta AccessPORT
It provides a lot of the same engine data as REV. It is MUCH more expensive, has a smaller screen, and is hardwired, BUT it allows you to upload engine tune maps that Alta or another Pro Tuner has created. If a particular map doesn't suit you, or you add a new mod, a new map will be sent to you for free. The purchase price includes any maps you might need (once they become available). Quick and easy tuning!
I hope Santa thinks I've been good this year!
