2009 Sandy Crack Rallye
School on a Saturday should be illegal! There is something very un-American about school on the weekends unless you're in trouble. You're not in trouble are you? Are they cracking the whip?
I agree, it should not be allowed. Me, in trouble?! Never!! I'm going to school to get my massage therapy "registration"
, and we have to have a lot of hours at this school here in the Springs. So, to do it all in a year, we have to sacrifice 7 Saturdays!
It's almost over! WAHOO!

By "miniconcarne" request, several types and colors of special Sandy Crack Rallye shirts are now available directly from CafePress (our markup is only $1). Please visit: www.cafepress.com/mini5280 for examples and to order. Note that some shirts have the graphic (above) on the front, while others have it on the back with "Sandy Creek Rallye" on the front (pocket location). Again, your only cost is production and postage plus $1 to MINI5280, which helps pay various fees. We do not maintain an inventory of shirts.

Suggestion for the Salida Stop. Little pricey, but definitely cool, And there is a coffee stop for Chuck close by.

That Kartman! He must have a lot of pull in NM. On his sig, how did he manage to get pairs of identical MINIs and a 2 to 1 lane merging street (with mirror image mountains in the background)?
Dunes Tip: Be sure to pack plenty of water, your picnic lunch, sandals, etc. There are no services (other than restrooms) there. It's not real close to anything. See the Great Sand Dunes Nat'l Park & Preserve website for more info.

For the record - there is no Hyatt in Alamosa. Perhaps a Ritz Carlton, but no Hyatt last time I was there.
I've stayed in the Super8 (not that super) and in the Best Western which was fine.
