Sorry Tommy, I've already got mine and seen it done many times before, personally I don't need to see it again.

If you get into other things I'd consider it, but Pulley's are old news for me. Not helpful to teh thread, but I didn't want to leave you hanging.

I was thinking about getting a pulley one of these days. My boyfriend works on his car (WRX) a lot. Would this be something that he could do or does this take some Mini specific knowledge/experience? I was looking at the Alta 15%... should I continue looking or is that a good piece?

pulley install is not the easiest of mods. Most importantly it requires some specific tools that no one would have unless they have done a few pulley installs themselves. I would highly recommend talking to Tommy about the install. His prices are very fair and he does a great job.

The pulley install is somewhat very involved...plus you need to have a few specific tools..as far as the alta 15% its a great deal! 99.99 plus free shipping and in the end a pulleys a pulley. Call me if you have any questions or would like to set something up!!!

buy it straight from Alta. (www.altaminiperformance.com) ill put the link to the $99.99 pulley. and i charge about $280.00 to install it. on the web site the install rating is a one star, but thats a lie...install takes about 3 1/2- 4 hours, and is a pretty involved instal. you have to jack up the motor about 9-10 inches so you can get good access to the pulley http://altaminiperformance.com/produ...Pulleys-15-19-

i would also recommend only doing the 15% and there are multiple reasons for that. if youd like i can explain all of them...give me a call and i can give you a detailed explanation of the install..let me know if you have any questions?
