Take the Google Map link that Chuck provided in post #1. Change the setting to "Terrain" (upper right). Adjust the map so that the center is the area just above the "C" push pin. What do you see? The answer is on my SmugMug album (photo #42) of this ride.

Ok, just a bit slow here. I came home and crashed until today. Finally got the pictures in my gallery Here. If anybody wants the originals just let me know. I had a wonderful time seeing some roads right here in Colorado that are great and scenic. The friendly company and the MINI turnout was outstanding too.

Kerri(Ms MiniEnvy) was kinda picture crazy. She got very excited once we saw all of the MINIs together. I kept hearing things like "This is just the coolest thing ever!" and "I didn't expect this to be so fun!" and "Why didn't you get a MINI sooner?".
There were a LOT of boot shots! I did take some out that were blurry so there were about 50 more taken!

 

My wife was not crazy about going along, but by the end of the day she commented that she was thrilled that she went!

I think it was about 5pm. Mike from Nederland stayed with me all the way up Coal Creek Canyon. Didn't want the day to end! Thanks for your pix and all of the others. Rick's drive-by shots were really cool.

Had a blast. Got a little schooled driving my first run behind Michael and Jonathan. I still can't get over that run between Canyon and Cripple Creek. WOW. I want to go back. Who's in?
