Wow, sounds like a few of the reasons my staff used when they were late getting into work.

I will drink a cup or two for you both and see you over at Heritage, if you can make it.

Sounds like a plan, I will have to think of a back way over to Golden.

C&C @ 7 AM then Microcars @ 10 AM

I'll be at C&C close to 7 AM. How about we leave C&C with enough time to arrive in Golden (Heritage Square) for the Nat'l Microcar Show at 10:00 AM? That way folks not going to C&C can shoot for meeting at Microcar Show by 10:00 AM. Or, pick another time.

May be able to make the Micro Car event though.
Chuck, do you have someone helping you with the install?

There is a trick to make it easier, you don't have to pull the shielding, saves about 2 hours on the install. I did it on MiniDaMoocher's Cabbie.

Actually I'm just the shop foreman on this job. Tommy is going to do all the work (he just doesn't know it yet). According to union rules we should technically have a supervisor as well, but since it is a weekend he will be working at the hospital.

yeah, sorry about that, if you have a week night off, say Thursday night, you can swing by and we can get it done. Betsy is out for Girls night, so I will be doing the bachelor thing.

If you change your mind, come on by and I can do it for ya. Only takes about 2 hours at the most.

Unfortunately (on many levels) I will be in Wyoming for the rest of the week. So in order to get it done before MITM this weekend will be my last chance.
You need to be really careful with this whole "Girls Night" concept.
Thanks for the offer.

haha, it is her best friend who is expecting their first child....so they bond once a week now.

Good luck with the install, wish I could be there to lend a hand, and save a bunch of frustration. The cabbie is really an easy job, people just make it harder than it needs to be.

What time are you all leaving for Heritage Square? We are stopping by Cino's to bring a canopy for MITMs and were thinking of being there at Cino's by 8am.

Heritage will be on Rick's or JPS's call, depending if they make it up to Cino's. Looks like they are planning to be there.

I think I might leave for Heritage around 9:15, no later.. Maybe at 9 to explore a couple of twisties on the way over.

I have to come back to LV around 11, so my stay over at Heritage will be short.

Nice little gathering

I think the P cars might have had more turnout than our MINIs, but we made a fine showing.

Nice to see a couple new exotics and meet up with an old Alfa Romeo friend.

I put a few snaps here.

The Micro-Car National Meet was very nice. I enjoyed seeing all the Mini Classics and some really great old cars. I do like those CVs and 300s.

Pictures in the same album.

Nice pictures Don, wish I could have made C&C and attended the Micro Car show. The upside is that I do have a new (red) sway bar under my MINI.

Cinos Saturday Sept. 6

Bumping on Wednesday for this Saturday.

I will drop by the coffee store and make sure this weekends meeting is still a go.

Details to follow. Anyone on Ferrari chat to see what they may be commenting about. I understand they had a couple comments about all the MINIs coming to the event.

Almost makes it sound like we're not welcome. I sure hope that they're not too good to share the place. heavens knows they've had a hard time filling up without us.

I'm not sure if I can make it yet. To be determined.

No car wars I hope. I stopped by and picked up a coffee, they had sign on the door for this Saturday, so I plan on about 7:30 to get a Latte and see who and what shows up.

I would love to see a few more exotics, I hope the R8 shows up, I want to take a closer look.

Maybe I can get Umberto to bring over his new 09 JCW so we all can take a closer look. It was fun picking it up with him on Tuesday.

Sounds like MINI-envy to me. I won't be there. My Ferrari is in the shop (just kidding). We have out of town visitors staying with us. Have fun!
