Great, I hope to see a bunch, I may have to bring some orange cones to lay out a few spaces. Maybe get there at 7:15.

Yes, Vicki we really want to see Bean and you have multiple helpers with the magnetic sticker holder. I want to see the install, too.

Looking forward to seeing all who make it. If you send me a PM with your number I will give you a call at 6:30 to ensure your up.

Weather is supposed to be clear, but I suspect a little brisk at 7, so I think a very large coffee is in order.

I will go over and see what they will have in/on the confections counter, give you all a report Friday PM.

Don

I never have a problem wearing them to Target, so I guess that I can wear them out for coffee!

Yah, I'm feeling pretty certain that I'll be going to this. It's early, but should be fun. I don't expect to get Christine out of bed, but I'll be there bushy tailed; no guarantees on being bright eyed.

Do you think we'll outshow the Ferrari guys? If so they might decide to make sure to un-invite us next time. That would be both funny and sad. Se ya tomorrow!

Not sure about the Ferrari guys, but I suspect we will see a few of something.

I had to mail a couple of boxes, so I drove over to Cinos around 11 today. The had a nice flyer on the door so they expect folks for the C&C.

As promised I took a couple shots of the goody bar and note the nice expresso machine in the background. Now I'm enjoying a nice Cinos double shot two pump suger Caramel Latte. Pretty good!

Closer, they said they would be stocking up some more for Sat. AM.

I'm going to try and make it as well depending on my trip preparation. I'm leaving for Nebraska to visit family around 11am. I think I should have enough time to make it out and slam a chai or two and make it back to leave by the scheduled departure time!

Wear a sweater or sweatshirt

See you all there, a sweater/sweatshirt and light gloves looks like the apparel of the day.

Looking forward to it after all this hype I have been loading on.

Pictures at 12.

Yes, lots of fun. You know it's a good group when we are some of the first ones there and also the last to leave.

Wow, what a morning. Sorry I did not make my 12 o'clock deadline for pictures. Busy helping a future MINI owner pick options.

Great turnout for a first time for us event. I took many pictures which I put in this album for your enjoyment. GO HERE!

A potential new MINI5280 member allowed a couple pictures while we were in Cinos sipping coffee. She was a cute one, shy. Mom and Dad have a nice Cabrio.

Our day turned out super, I had a couple of doubts after the Thursday snow.

Here's a picture, thanks all for coming out and enjoying an early cuppa.

Tommy, Micheal, I will keep my MINI tuned up for you. We will have to see what you surprise me with at MITM.

Nice pictures Teena/Rich & Don. That was fun and some really beautiful cars (even some that weren't MINIs).
The ride home was fun too. Jacob needs to stop picking on poor lil'Vetts! Might give them a complex.

With Jacob, Chuck and Tommy following, the pressure was on to not make a single navigation mistake. Tough crowd, especially Jacob. The route to Hwy 93 from Hwy 128 was fast and accurate (no U-turns) thanks to a bit of help before leaving the C&C. Toward the end of Hwy 128, a few oncoming cars warned of a smoky ahead. Good thing. We passed a couple of slow vehicles before encountering the CHP where the speed limit is very low at the intersection. That's where the red 'Vette caught us and wanted (almost demanded) to be the lead dog. We let him get is way then proceeded to sniff his butt a bit, as he was now naturally behind the slower cars. In Golden we went our separate ways. The C&C was a fun way to spend the morning: MINIs: 10, Porsches: about 8, Ferraris: 3, Lincoln Continentals (the 25 ft kind): 1, plus a few other labels.
Here are my photos (SmugMug album)

Someone's got to show those Vets that we are no chumps. Might as well be me.

Here are my photos. I didn't take many.

Not I. We had a good time that first go round, and I'll consider going again. Unfortunatey I have other plans to attend to that morning. Good luck to any who decide to go, you should have a good time. Maybe in July.

I think we are going to stop in. Not sure exactly when... probably closer to 9. Hopefully not the only Mini, but wanted to show my son some of the other cars that show up there anyways.

Yeah, we did. Not as many there as last time, but I was later than last time too. There was a sweet looking Lotus Elise (red, so it must have been fast, right Chuck?), a bunch of Porches and one other MINI. I guess we just missed an Audi R8. Would have loved to see that in person. Hopefully see more MINI's next month.
