anyone know an independent MINI shop around colorado area - preferably close to boulder -

I wanna do a MINI Inspection Check since MINI Ralph Schomp cost around $225...just wanna check if I can find a cheaper one.

I've started taking my MINI to Gunbarrell Motors in Niwot. They have traditionally worked on BMW, Mercedes etc and have expanded into MINI service. In my experience, they are an excellent shop!

They do great work and strive to do it efficiently. Yesterday they were able to replace the crank position sensor seal without removing the front end componants. That saved time and money so I was quite pleased. One more reason I'll be going there for all my MINI service!

For tires, I recomend The Tire Source on 30th St. just north of the Steelyards. They are terrific.

 

I agree on Tire Source, great tire service and they pay attention to expensive wheels.

Did not know that Gunbarrell was doing MINI service, nice to know.
