MINI5280 announced it's annual Spring Poker Run. Next Sunday, June 24th, at NOON.

See the MINI5280 Calendar right here in NAM for details, and to sign up.

This will be fun.

Should I look stupid...
OK - what is a Poker Run? I prefer driving rather than running anywhere!

Is it like the one in Vegas where you get clues & then drive around town getting a playing card at each location??? Then whoever has the best hand wins??

A Poker Run

involves driving. And some other things.

Basically, there are 7 stops. You draw a card from a deck at each stop.

At the end, you play your best hand, 5 cards.

Best Poker hand wins.

Ohhhh...sounds fun! I'm in (since there is no running involved) and will mark as such in the calendar.

It is sort of like the one in Vegas

except that you don't drive around Vegas. You drive around Denver.

Just an FWI, but Heather at Detailers Paradise is hosting a car show at their store on Sunday from 11 to 3. I thought I would stop by at 11 to see the cars and then leave from there to the Englewood station at 11:40 or 11:45.
Please join me if you have the time.
