Cortex EBC

Category: Drivetrain

Bought it, the seller didn't ship my entire order and I filed a dispute. Since the guy ghosted on me I got my money back and I got to keep this. My original intent was to use it to control direct port WMI by regulating flow by gear and boost. I had planned on pairing it with an intercooler spray. It is more than capable of doing all of this and then some, but I've changed direction so I no longer need it.

$250 shipped. Flexible on price since I got my refund.

The SIRHC Labs Cortex EBC is a high performance electronic boost controller that provides gear, RPM, and throttle based boost control capabilities.

Features:
  1. Gear, RPM, and vehicle speed based boost control
    • Set boost at up to 64 points PER gear based on RPM, RPM + TPS, or vehicle speed
  2. PID based feedback control algorithm optimized for boost control applications
  3. Launch specific settings to improve standing start acceleration and consistency
  4. Spool specific settings to minimize turbo lag
  5. Overboost fail-safe settings to protect engines from potentially damaging boost levels
  6. Memory storage for 6 completely unique boost control profiles that can be selected on the fly
  7. Internal 50.0 PSI Pressure Sensor
  8. 1 RPM input
  9. 1 vehicle speed input
  10. 1 general purpose input
    • Can be connected to TPS, flex-fuel, WBO2, water/meth flow sensors, or transbrake switches to provide additional boost control and fail-safe capabilities.
  11. 2 fully programmable PWM outputs with 3D mapping
  12. Software based configuration with high speed data logging

I am quite sure this cannot be used on R53. The only waste gate control R53 is that to prevent money from leaving the wallet.

There is no waste gate on our SC little wonder.

I can be used on just about anything. I bought it with the intent of managing direct port WMI. It does a lot more than just control boost and is really only limited by your imagination.
