Not really- You’ll have a void where the hinges are for the tailgate on the R52.

Also, thanks again for the brake wear sensors-I believe you’re the one I bought them off of.

In addition to the hinge voids, R52s came standard with PDC so unless your R53 also has PDC you’ll get a handful of holes for the PDC sensors as well.

Are the covers for the bottom of the hinges where they meet the bumper missing?
