These are rare, out of production wheels from the best wheel manufacturer in the world. BBS. It's true, they don't make them like they used to.

I have four BBS RA wheels, 4x100 15x6. Three are the standard BBS RA that came as an option on the VW GTi Mk2, and the fourth is slightly different, but still a BBS RA, same size, but slightly different spoke pattern around the lug holes and the lip is more rounded. Take a close look at the pics to see it.

Tires on 3 of them, 2 of those are good, and they are on matching wheels, the "odd" wheel has a well worn tire. 205/50/15 Futura GLS Super Sport all-seasons, 440 treadwear.

Finishes are ok, probably will need to be blasted & powdercoated to be tip-top, and there are very slight lip bends and curb rash here and there that will need to be smoothed out, but all very doable.

Will these fit an R53?

 

They should, if you let me know the minimum inside barrel clearance needed, I can do a measurement on a wheel for you, but I never test fit them on a R53 myself before, so I can't be sure. . . Should fit a R50 Cooper fine. . .
