**SOLD** - 17" OZ Ultraleggera and 215/45-17 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $845
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R50, R52, R53, R55, R56, R57, R58, R59
Location (Region): SouthEast
Item Condition: Used

Up for sale is my set of (4) 17" OZ Ultraleggera Matte Graphite Silver wheels with 215/45-17 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires. The tires have less than 5k miles (8-9/32 tread remaining). I ran these wheels for almost a year on my Dark Silver R56. I recently got rid of my DS R56 for a Chili Red R55 and it just isn’t quite the look I wanted. The tires were on the car for about 3 months and have been sitting for the last month on my patio.
Wheels:
17" OZ Ultraleggera Matte Graphite Silver, they are 17 x 7” with 37mm Offset, 16.0lbs, Made in Italy
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand
Tires:
215/45-17 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus, 500 treadwear, Traction AA, Temperature A, 22lb, Made in USA
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....n&autoModClar=
The tires handle very well for All Seasons and come highly recommend by Alex at tirerack.com (this is where they came from). I bought the wheels from a friend and MA at my dealership who has since passed away :( . He had them on his DS JCW R55 until he powdercoated his Challenge Spokes black. I would love to see someone enjoy them as much as he and I have. The wheels had a set of OEM tires on them that ran for about 10k miles before switching to this set of rubber. The wear and tear on the wheels is minimal and there is about 2-3” of rash on one wheel, courtesy of my lovely wife . It is very minimal but it is well photographed in the photo album (linked).

There are no TPMS sensors included in this sale unfortunately. The tires are aired up now with rubber valve stems and can be installed but they will probably need balancing as the sensors are now gone. Hopefully the description has been thorough, but if you have any questions please post here, PM, or email me and I will do my best to get you the answer.

Ok, what do I want? I am asking for $850 but I will entertain offers and trades. I am gathering my price from the fact that new (which I know these are not), from tirerack.com, even on special right now (15% off), the tires are $155 ea or $620 for the set and the wheels are $238 ea or $952 for the set. That makes $1572 without shipping. Ideal trades can include Alta Accessport, DOS CAI, name brand FMIC, downpipe, exhaust for a R55 S model. Any one or combo of these could certainly entice me to make a deal. I can ship, it will take a couple of days to get a quote from work. Ideally pickup/delivery in or near Florida would be nice. I will be at Mickey and MINI 8 at the end of this month; I would love to see these go on or by that weekend
Thanks for looking

I am interested and located in Miami. Do you know whether these will fit a 2006 R50?

These will fit all of the MINIs thus far, except the R60 as it is 5 lug.
I had them on my '09 and '10 (for a week) and these cars have the M14 lug bolts. The first gen cars had M12 lug bolts but near the end of '06 they transitioned to the M14, but if they fit the larger ones they will definitely fit the smaller ones. I could come across the alley or even meet you in the middle if that would help sway you into purchasing

Satisfaction guaranteed

Here is when I had the 205s on it, the 215s look more proportional to me IMO.

Here are the 215s

Looks great. Thanks for sharing those pics. Hopefully someone wants these things. I would love to take them to Mickey and MINI this next weekend and leave them with the new owner.

Here's a bump in hopes of selling them. Open to offers.

Where are you located? At the top right of every post is a place for one to have their location show, it helps to fill it out if you don't mind...thanks

I am willing to ship if necessary, but it usually isn't too cheap. I would love to drive and meet someone to save them the hassle and cost, but I also understand not everyone live in FL.

Keep me updated if you are interested please.

Ouch. That's quite a bit less than OP is asking. Shipping alone is gonna be at least $80-100.

These are not runflats. If you get a chance to check the link to tirerack.com you will see that those tires are one of the top (if not top) rated tires in the All Season category. They ride so much smoother than the stock runflats but still return great performance and about 45k miles of expected total life.

Thanks for looking. Let me know if you have more questions.
