Very simple; install the nut inserts into the hood hole, and bolt up the vent scoop with the screws.

People who have purchased have been happy with lower hood scoop temperatures, and promotes additional turbocharger cooling; especially those who autocross or track their vehicle.

PM me; I would need a photo of the underside of the mounted M7 scoop and see if there's threaded studs on the M7 unit.

Yes it works with teh CF scoop. I have mine installed and have the CF scoop. Acctually the type of scoop you have does not matter as this part attaches to the hood itself.

So in your humble opinion, with all heat from the turbo exhaust turbine and the cat ,what is the better idea?Covering the turbo up with the M7 heat shield or this hood scoop air defelector ?

The OEM intake "snorkel" feeds from grill in the hood next to the headlights.
The Vent Scoop doesn't affect that operation.
