sorry if this seems a bit late to post this, but there is a local car meet I have been going to eversince I had my Subaru, it is a VW-started/local meet, but anyone is welcome [we even had a couple GTRs show up ]

Easily accessable off of 287 exit 10 [drops you off right on Easton Ave] and we park behind the Taco Bell. nice people that show up, great cars, I just had enough of being the only MINI, so if anyone is free to show up, don't be shy. I'll be there in my 2011 BRGII/BRGII MCS LCI.

Also, meet starts at 8:45pm and goes on until whenever.

What usually happens at this?

 

just a get together. no F&F stuff, one person tried showing off [loud as hell sound system....and roman candles....], and a group of us told him to leave. but it is a nice community of people. also, soe real clean VWs, and my fav. is my friend who has a matte blacked Turbo Brick [Volvo 940 Wagon].

 

Okay good hahah I'll keep you posted if I will be coming or not. I don't think I will be able to get my usual group of MINIs to come since it is short notice for them (most live in North Jersey).

 

yeah, I just thought last minute, "will it be too late to post this on NAM" and I just took a shot at it. but as mentioned, it is a weekly meet, but even so, come out if you want, i'll be there. when you pull in, come like you are going to the Drivethru, you'll see all of us well before then.

will do, haha I'll park crooked to hold a spot for ya [they do it sometimes too, lol] then again...it'll be pretty hard as I don't even take up one full space, haha!

so, the meet is coming up for this Wednesday, anyone free to come along? great people, great cars, and we try our best to keep the riff-raff out. last week it was me and John, hoping to get more of us there so I can also meet with more MINI owners myself, lol.

hopefully this weeks weather will be a bit better than last Wednesday. whoever can come down this Wednesday, don't be shy! lol!

 

I just ordered new engine mounts and bushings for Winston so I should be installing all them on Wednesday. So count me in at this point that I'll be there!

 

The location is on my commute home (Rt287). I might be able to stop by but the timing is a little awkward. How early do people start showing up?

 

I might be able to show up early, I should be getting the parts for the Mini in the mail Wednesday so it all depends on how quickly I can put them on.

 

some people show up as early as 8:20, but this week I will be there at that time if you want to show up earlier.

 

Pshhhh....we'll just have our own MINI meet.

 

It would have been convenient to make a stop on the way home, but it's not gonna work out as I'll be there at around 7pm if I do that..

I think I could get home eat dinner and head north to make it at 8:30 or so.. see you guys there

Mine is not so cool at this moment.. It's pure silver all over, and the only aesthetic mods I have done to it so far is a blackout belt line and plasti-dipped taillight trim.

I see it as a blank canvas though, and I got plans. I GOT PLANS!
