Yup ... started a club for North Jersey over a year ago. All I'm gonna say is it takes time to build and you can't get dissapointed if it dies down or people don't show up. I just plain Love to drive my MINI and if I make a run and you wanna come it's all good!
But you don't have to join my club to come on a run. I post them in here as well as on NEMINI.

@ MOTE - Do you have any events planned for the near future? I saw a bunch of MINIs on my way to Trader Joe's in Edgewater last night.

Yea it's been open only a few months. I work around the corner from these and got a good relationship with them. If we want to hook something up over there lemme know I can hook it up with the dealer.

35 posts and still nothing. Does anybody in North Jersey, Rockland, Orange, Westchester, the Bronx or Manhattan want to get together in the next few weeks for a run, food, mods or whatever??

And if that does not work... then like I said post #19 in this thread, come by my house on the 15th, 16th or 17th of April to meet me, Lyle from Vinyl Styles, his wife and whomever else is in my driveway having visual mods done to their MINI.

Weather will be great tomorrow evening but it appears I have other plans with the wifey . I am up for a run after 9pm ish possibly ?? And there is that nyc bbq run coming up 2 weekends from now (April 2nd - Saturday) if they don't change the date again. Otherwise, this saturday looks rainy but NEXT friday/saturday I am up for a run somewhere to grab food if interested. May I suggest Roberta's pizzeria in Brooklyn? They have some nice recipes and street parking usually isn't a problem (its near all the warehouses).

I know I am new to this forum but I am all for the idea of a great spirited club with awesome members in the NJ area. I am from north jersey and will spend my free time putting together a club in this area if we are all serious about doing so. I say we do a monthly rally on sunday mornings and at the end of it get something to eat or something of that nature. I have only done one mini rally and LOVED it. If you are serious about starting a club and driving one sunday a month msg me or respond to this reply and we will get something together. I personally do not care where we drive but I guess we should figure out members first then start a new thread and discuss times and destinations. When my new Mini comes in I will have the iphone app with mini connect to make this easier ... Please msg me or respond if you are seriously interested and we will start this ASAP.

Okay so we have a total of 2 ... We will wait for more people to respond then start a new threat with serious people ... I honestly could do a nice long drive on a sunday especially once the weather is super nice ...

Sunday morning is perfect for me, the earlier the better, less people on the road, A Sunrise run maybe overlooking the beach someplace would be nice also and would make for a good photo op

 

I am the same way and Im sure it works like that for most people. The earlier the better and like I said before I don't care where we drive. We can go up to boston and I'd be down. Like I said in my previous post once we get a good amount of people we will figure out times and destinations. As of now we have three serious people. I say we will give people about a week to respond until we start setting dates and what not.

etc, the one im talking about is the one in edgewater and it doesnt get poppin till the warm weather comes and its usually sunday and wednesday nights ... if you ever want to ride let me know I live in edgewater and work in fort lee so id def be down to drive anytime ...just hit me up ...

I'm from monmouth county, I travel local and south alot more than I go north... but I'm interested. Also check out the thread I mentioned earlier about Mini Of Monmouth... they are interested in sponsoring a meet for us. I'm working out the details and possibly setting it for April 16th.
