Columbia Marionette Theater - Rev your Mini 1/21
Rev up you engines! – Join us at the Castle (Columbia Marionette Theater)
You might ask yourself, what can you do with your MINI in January? How can you have some fun in the cold weather? Why not join the Columbia Chapter at the Columbia Marionette Theater on Saturday January 21, 2005? The theater is built to resemble a Medieval Castle and should be a treat for Mini lovers of all ages.
We will start off our adventure at 9:30 AM with a freshly brewed cup of coffee from Caffé Corner (directions below). From there our MINI’s will motor on to the Columbia Marionette Theater for the 11:00 AM show. The feature is Beauty and the Beast. Tickets are only $4.00 per person and are purchased at the door. Please remember to bring cash or a check. Unfortunately they do not accept Visa. Also children under two are free!
After the show for those interested, we will take a brief tour of the scenic Columbia Vista area. This area is jam-packed with restaurants and specialty shops. Here we will stop at one of the local establishments for lunch.
If your busy calendar permits, this will be a fun filled day for the whole family. The Columbia Chapter of M2C2 hopes you can join us for Beauty and the Beast!
Directions: Caffé Corner
From I77: Take the I-20 exit east to Florence. Motor on to Clemson road and exit. At the exit you will see a Mc Donald’s and Holiday Inn, From I77 you will turn left. Proceed past two traffic lights and Caffé Corner will be on the left hand side at the Corner of Clemson and Sparkleberry. It is directly across from the car wash featuring free vacuuming in the strip mall. There is an Exxon right on the corner at Sparkleberry for an additional landmark.

For those who would like to join us at the theater at 11:00 AM.
From I77: follow I-277 to Columbia. I-277 will turn into Bull Street. Turn right onto Laurel Street. The theater is at the end of Laurel Street on the right.
From I-26: Follow I-126/Highway 76 to Columbia. The road will split – take the Huger Street ramp.
Turn right at the first stoplight onto Laurel Street. The theater will be on the right.
From I-20: Take exit 64A (I-26 to Charleston). Follow I-126/Highway 76 to Columbia. The road will split – take the Huger Street Ramp. Turn right onto Laurel Street. The theater is at the end of Laurel Street on the right.
