Wanted Black Mirror Caps

After chroming out my jet black Mini, I've now decided to return it back to its natural state and now unfortunately, my black mirror caps are scratched after installing the chrome aftermarket stick on caps. Does anyone have a set sitting around that they would like to sell for a reasonable price?

Please email me at debi@mybimmer.com if you can help me out.

Cheers,
Debi

Check with Black Powder.. The removed their black mirror caps and replaced them with checkered caps... They might be willing to part with them..

I did, but like Debiw I may switch back at some time.

I will check with my friends in Greenville and see if they have some extras.

Thanks George. I should never have bought these sticky things. After I impulse bid on ebay, I was hoping someone would have out bid me, but no for once I had to be the only bidder

Let me see how things go, but thanks for offering to help out. What's the cost on a red set?

Aha! So all that flash is just a passing fancy, eh? You buy those drab dark silver or black cars, then have to try to dress them up so that people will notice them... then are blinded by the bling!

You shoulda bought a REAL MINI color, like indi blue, or chili red, or lemon yellow or BRG (right, Ed?); then you'd not have to trick them out so. You notice that Somkey's next will be a classic color, right? He's learned!

Can you imagine people discussing mirror cap colors on, say, a Camry board? It's great that we can individualize these cars so easily.

If you haven't done so this might get more responses in the marketplace forum. There it'll catch the eyes of a lot more people than in here.

Camry board! Does such a thing exist

Black is classy looking and a classy gal like myself needs to drive a classy car Yes, I know I added too much bling--I HATE IT! I think I'm going to go to the dark side now and get the aero grill. Anyone selling one of these? Anyone want to buy the chrome front grill? I am going to keep the rear chrome on.

Surely there's a Camry board, isn't there? I love my '92 Camry: It's perfect for hauling bikes and canoes and keeping the MINI out of the rain and the snow. And have you ever tried to rob a bank in a MINI? It isn't a subtle getaway car! The Camry is: "Well, officer, they took off in a sedan... I don't know what it was."

I went to The Dark Side long ago: No chrome mirror caps, aero grilles and I replaced the chrome side marker vents with the black ones from the MC... and, of course, I'm probably the only person in the world who has replaced the MCS gas cap with the Cooper flap.
