The Charlotte group would like to invite everyone to dinner on Saturday, March 5th. We will be meeting at Buca di Beppo across from the Carolina Place Mall at 4 p.m.

Buca di Beppo serves good immigrant Italian food at very reasonable prices. I've had one of the best pizzas i've ever had there and George has been pleased with the place as well. Please feel free to check out their website at http://www.bucadibeppo.com

There is ample parking so we can all park together and there are rooms available if we have enough folks interested. So please post if you will be able to join us so that we can get a room reserved and possibly ask for some parking to be set aside for our group.

I'd like to attend this, as long as I was out of work in time.
I've eaten there before and it is very good. Portions are table-sized--that is, if your group orders spagetti, they bring out a huge bowl of it and put it in the middle of the table...

 

I'm going to try to come to this! Providing you don't mind a MINIless driver!

Awww....shucks!

I'll mark my calendar for it. The only thing that could prevent me coming is if my uncle comes down...still unsure when that is, March is all I know, but who knows, I may still come down! I'll keep you all posted!

I agree with Debi. MiniGal, you just come to any event you want. If anyone says ANYTHING to you about not having a MINI, you send them to me. Hey! I got an idea (and it didn't even hurt). Just show them one of your model MINI's and tell them to hush.

I will ask Ed to send an email out to all the members letting them know about the dinner. This will be a great opportunity for all of us to meet and check out each others MINIs. I think we have about 40 members in the Charlotte area now. I hope we get a good turn out.

Maybe we will get a few non-members that want to check us out and some out of town members to join in.

If you have never been to Buca di Peppo you are in for a treat.

DebiW...wish I could make this, but I had the Raleigh meeting this week, am making an extended Hickory run next week, have the quarterly meeting on the 12th, and somewhere in there, figure out a time to get my 25K mile service done up at Flow. As they say, I think my dance card is full!

Bummer! As of right now, I'm still waiting on what my family is doing! If they come in during that week, I may be able to do only one event...but we'll see how that goes and what happens! As of right now, I'm still planning on both!
