Well, I'm out! Dangit! But all is not lost for me, I'll be in Disney for the week. The boy child is outta college that week and can't wait to get outta Rhode Island. Since he's a recruiter for Disney's college program, he gets employee rates. That includes Mom and Dad!

I'm new at this blogging thing - I can not find the person i was talking about meeting in Madison, GA to go to Helen. Plus how do you attach a picture. I have tried 3 times with no luck. Yes us old guys have trouble with all this technology.

 

I can get him an Iron Brigade sticker, its the unit Im assigned to and going to Iraq with, and has all the units named in one symbol.

Lawman - I was unsure of the meet up time and seem to remember it was in the later afternoon. We really wanted drive up with a group, have decided to go up late AM on Friday now. Please tell me the time again. Thanks!

 

We're still going up Friday afternoon. We will be leaving Warner Robins by 2:00 PM and should be in Madison by 3:30 - 4:00 PM. We should be in Helen by 6:30 PM (it should still be light outside...dusk).

Yay....only 3 days to go til "Helenblitz!" Tamara and I are leaving late Thursday afternoon and spending the night in Anderson, SC. We'll get an early start from there Friday morning and plan to be in Helen around noon-ish! WHOO HOOO....CAN'T WAIT TO SEE EVERYONE!

 

We're meeting at the Wal-Mart at Hwy 441 and Lions Club Rd in Madison. I think it is the ONLY Wal-Mart in Madison...we should be there in the Wal-Mart parking lot between 3:30-4:00 PM Friday, 26 Feb. This should get us into Helen while it is still light (about 6:00 PM). We're looking forward to meeting up with ya'll!
