They do have wifi internet, and parking..
Also we can wash the cars, as long as there is no ban in effect.

1 nightstay , mc or visa or personal check for the reservation. They now have an extended continental breakfast... bagels, poptarts.. toast, coffee, tea. .. and the like..

So we have 20 rooms reserved.. also I have one pet room set aside for Doc, he just needs to call and reserve it!!!!

You can motor with us... trying to get Ruff and David to fly into Charlotte and motor down -- EARLY. Just made reservations for rooms from Tuesday the 23 - 28 [LUTHER -- I BOOKED YOU AN ADJOINING ROOM ]. I cannot wait!!!! Trace and Bob are coming, right?????

 

I have made my Hotel reservations and will pass the information on to the other members of Atlanta Mini's - this is such a great event and should not be missed. - Any R/C plans this year ??

 

I know this was something quite a few folks wanted to participate in last year, unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate. Seabiscuit was the one handling those plans (R/C events) last year...not sure if M2C2 was going to include that this year or not. You'll need to take that up with jabell2r, BLUCOOPR, or lilruffcat. I'm sure Seabiscuit would help out, but he'll need to know soon...like, yesterday.

 

WE are working on flight plans this week.. should know what we are up to!!!! Hehehe I told you Helen.. is a time of mini love and suprises!!! motor on!

John and I will be working some magik!!! This weekend.. so hopefully we should have an intinerary up very soon!!!! Booked our rooms at the Dorf.. and we are ready!!

 

My name is Frank Turner. I am a "local", and I have volunteered to lead a mountain drive Saturday. A map and turn-by-turn directions are attached. We will leave from the winery tour (about 10:30). Here are a few details:

• We will be focusing on the great roads west of Helen; basically going up mountains and down the other side. The route direction is meant to utilize 2-lane uphills where available to avoid traffic impediments.
• This will be a "spirited" drive, but with plenty of stops to gather up those desiring a slower pace, or getting caught up in traffic. Those apex animals desiring a faster pace may feel free to carry on without sticking with the group.
• To ensure no one gets lost, or that breakdowns don't get left behind, please employ the buddy system by keeping an eye on the mini behind you. If necessary, stop briefly at turns to make sure they see where to go.
• Come with a full tank of gas. This is Deliverance country.
• Bring some cash for drinks/snacks and parking at Vogel Park.
• In many places, gravel used for the recent ice storms will be present, or pushed out to the edge of the road, and most places have no guardrails. Nuff said.
• I will have extra maps and write-ups at the hotel and the winery.
