I saw the brace and it was very nicely done. It should really tighten the car up especially those who autocross. I liked it and think it is well thought out and worth the money. The only drawback it if you need to haul some big you would have to remove it. Another great inovation by DDM.

 

That brace is very cool.. but now that I look at the pictures./... the mirror in the bonnet is cool.. you only have that in there for shows?

 

I believe that's part of the CAI for the R56; connects the hood scoop to the filter in the back of the engine bay (since there's no top-mount IC for the hood scoop to feed)

 

It makes the hood scoop functional by feeding the air to the intake
