AUTUMN IN THE MOUNTAINS - Oct 6
We're planning on coming - probably just going to leave from our house since there isn't a group meeting before hand. See everyone tomorrow!!
Here are the directions...
From Charlotte
Take Interstate 85 South to Exit #10 (King's Mountain and Highway 74 West). Drive on 74 West for about one hour. At Exit #167, get off and turn right onto Highway 9 North. Go 14 miles to the stop sign (Lake Lure will be in front of you). Turn left at the stop sign onto Highway 64/74A West. Go 4 miles and the Park entrance will be on the left.

I get to be the first one to post about the day,
For all those that didn't make it ,you sux, J/K. It was a wounderful day, a little hot but ok. Doc took first place, and secound went to the convertable of SSSSSSS.(I think). The day was great but the dinner was unforgetable. GERMANY food was great, oh but did I eat to much. The peach desert, with brandy, was yummy.
Wouldn't have missed this one, enjoyed being around friends especially the ones in this group. Thanks for everyone that went, I had a blast. See you all at Hendricks next saturday for pumpkins.

Doc got a well deserved 1st Place and Randy in his Convertable took 2nd. Both very worthy of representing our Club. We had a blast, good food and for those who stayed Sunday and did some twisties that morning before returning home. Even brought a jacket because last year was cold, this year very warm. Everyone should put this on your calendars next year. Fun Fun and lots of motoring.
