I'll be there. Taking that Friday off from work, reserved a room at the Quality Inn & Suites on 201 Sugarloaf Rd in Hendersonville for Friday and Saturday night and have paid the registration fee.

Since we have a few going, we need to find out when everyone wants to leave and motor on up there as a group. I can go anytime!

Leaves should be turning making it more spectactular. How does everyone feel about some real German Food saturday night down in Hendersonville just a couple miles away?

 

Anyone wanting to go for the day....Let's all meet and caravan together. How about Starbucks on Wikinson Blvd and on to 85 SB ? What time would be good for those wanting to go?

 

Scott and Kay I was also planning on going up for the day. Sounds like a good place to meet. Not sure how long it takes to get up there, anyone have any suggestions when would be a good time to leave would be appreciated.

Takes about 1 1/2 hours from Charlotte. 85 S to kings Mtn exit 74 West to I-26 N to exit 49B follow that road about 8-10 miles to Chimney Rock Park. Or if you want to drive some twisties up just take 74 W thru Lake Lure to Chimny Rock Par. From Columbia I-26 all the way to exit 49B. See ya'll there.

 

Turns out we can't stay overnight - but would like to go up for the day. (If I have my Mini back). Probably should leave no later than 8 a.m. - what do you think?

All those that want to caravan up to the show can meet at the Cracker Barrel at I-77 and Carowinds Blvd about 12:30 tomorrow.We can grab lunch and head on up. The plan is to go up I-485 to I-85 to 74.
