I was wondering (I've been doing this a lot lately to pass the time) how many MINI's out there have made it into local newspapers or TV? Has your group rally made the 11 o'clock news? Anybody got a clipping for their scrapbook?

I know SuperMINI03 just happened to catch his very own MINI on the evening news and I was wondering if there were anymore of you famous MINI's out there?

a lot lately, i think it has something to do with italians and their jobs?

A bunch of MINIs (including mine) got some air time on the Baltimore Fox network station as part of the "Italian Job" promotion. This'll be happening in a lot of cities around the US soon.

When I bought my first Mini in March '02 it was featured on a local
news program and I was interviewed by a newspaper.....
There have been no features on the 2nd or 3rd S though... :???:

 

2minis - you should contact THEM - I mean - how many people have 3 MINI's? :smile: :smile: What a great story that would be

 

2minis, you need to post a pic with all three of your mini's together in the one picture. That would be sweet, and nice to see.

 

Me and my MINI were photographed and put on the front page of the Denver Post "The Scene" section (aka lifestyle). ficcion and I were both interviewed for the article. :smile:

 

Just a few days ago, I cut out a story from the newspaper, talking about the MINI Cabrio. Here is the story word for word from the newspaper.
"Topless MINI Cooper on the way
BMW said Thursday that it will definately offer a MINI Cooper convertible in 2004. The New BMW division sold 24,590 cars last year, almost 25% ahead of its target. BMW executives have said that other MINI variants could be next, including a possible four-door."
