I was driving my son to school on a small street. The other lane, going the other way, was backed up with traffic, stopped. The driver of an SUV (Ford Exploder) was coming toward me on the other side, he was so focused on checking out my MINI, that he didn't notice his traffic was stopped. Right at the last second or so, he realized he was about to crash into the car in front of him...I saw the horrified look in his face ....he quickly swerved to the right into the dirt shoulder and crashed into the chainlink fence. Boy, that was a cloud of dirt that went up. MINI 1 - SUVs 0
I LOVE MY MINI!!

I saw some moron that pulled up next to me in his COOL sports car, around a corner, I was on the highway doing about the speed limit, and he was doing probably 10 or 20 over, and he was looking at me, and drifeted into my lane, then figured it out, and swerved back, he did is about 3 time, and it was getting so back that he'd hit his brakes, and start fishtailing, and on the third time, he scraped the side of the car next to him (which was the one in front of me) and started to freak out, he it the brakes and jumped out of the car. You'd think that people would stop looking if they want to live longer. GEEZ

Yep, on the way back, the traffic had cleared out, the SUV was gone, but a Sheriff was still there finishing up his report. The chain link fence took a beating....but was still intact!

You get the same thing happening when people gawk at an accident going the other direction. I'm sure it's happened when a guy has been scoping out a good looking lady and probably the reverse as well. I do get a sinister pleasure, though when people pay for their stupidity in that manor. As long as no one is really injured, that is....

A bunch of my friends have too much of that kinda problem when it comes to good looking chicks walking on the sidewalk. They just have to get the last second worth of a stare in there at them, before almost killing us all. The stories that I could tell. I admit to a bit of this, but not to the point of almost writing off my car for it.

rfibanez: I could watch that vid in your sig all day. Too funny.

Cheers,

Brings to mind the Seinfeld episode where Jerry and Kramer were driving down the street and crashed their car because they saw Sue Ellen Mishke (sp?) wearing a bra as a top. You guys are somethin' else!! NUMMYTIME

I drive by a Hooters on the way to work. On the days when the Hooters girls are washing cars, you can hear the tires squeal! Imagine if I let the Hooters girls wash my MINI!!!
