'07 cabrio or wait for '08?

Hello all,
I am considering trading/selling my '03 cooper for a convertible. My question to you is this - go with the '07 convertible and enjoy this summer/fall start to finish with the top down. Or wait for the redesigned '08? I'd love to hear how the redesigned '07 hatchback has been received. Any thoughts?
Bill

I don't believe that the redesign will occur until the 2009 model year, so quit waiting and start tanning .

It's supposed to be in Europe in fall of 2008, and US/Canada in early spring '09 . . . so don't wait.

Even so, it would be wise to wait a couple of years for the new design to get the kinks worked out. Now get to ordering!

Every "next model" or 'next year' will be an improvement over the last, supposedly. If you keep on waiting for the next improved model, you will never have a cabrio. This is a do it now thing.

I talked to a SW regional guy and he says it'll be Feb 09 before we see the new cabbies.

I would go for the 07' cabrio. There will definately be bugs in the first year model. I also like the styling of the first generation MINI rather than the second gen. But it's all up to the individual.
