Is Rota still the best cheap/lightweight choice??
Is Rota still the best cheap/lightweight choice??
I am thinking of picking up a set of lightweight track wheels for the Mini and it seems like Rota is the way to go for a set of wheels (~$500/12 lbs.) Is that still the general consensus? Any other choices that may have come to be recently??
Thanks!!!

another vote for Kosei. I just got some K1 Racing, but several of my friends run the K1 TS for race dedicated vehicles. Strong, light, reasonably priced. TRD are also another good option....but I like to keep the number of spokes down to make them easier to clean
A bit late coming, but might as well say it:
I've had a set of Falken Hanabi in 15" for autoslalom on my MCS for a year and a half with Hoosiers mounted on them, and 3 out of 4 craqued in the hub area/ strut base. That's 2 1/2 hours of slalom use!
Yes they're light, but they don't seem to be able to witstand the lateral G's imposed on them by autoslalom.
My 2 cents.
