I just ordered my new Mini!
Howdy! I just got home from Otto's Mini in PA this evening... after some encouraging advice from folks on here, I just placed my order for my first Mini! I got an '07 MCS automatic with leather seats, lightning blue with black roof, mirrors and bonnet stripes. 
My finance manager told me it could be ready for delivery as early as 6 weeks from now, but more likely approx 8 weeks.
That's it, just wanted to share that I've got one on the way.

Congratulations! Ordering is easy, waiting is (very) hard, but you found a great place to while away the time.

I got a nice reaction from some folks at work, I'd be the third Mini driver in the same parking lot. I got to show off a picture of 'my' new car today, since it's the first photo shot in the Mini brochure (the "mini" Mini fold-out brochure they mail you, not the 3-lb. book they give you in the showroom).
Now I get to agonize about the million little decisions I made... Did I really need to pay for the DSC? Should I have sprung for the lounge leather instead of PC leather? Are 6 speakers enough? etc etc... :impatient

My MCS is also on order. And like you, I've spent the first N days/weeks revisiting my choices and (no doubt) boring my MA to death with questions and changes.
I started with a black/black MCS automatic, 17" crown-spokes and various minor trims.
Three days later, I added a sunroof, convenient access and interior chrome.
A week later, I changed the interior red color line to cream, and added the tuscan beige leather.
And NOW I've heard that the sat/nav feature IS being offered here in the states--I'd thought (and had been told by my MA) that it wasn't going to be available until June. Sigh. But my car's already being built now, so I'm just going to have to tough it out without tossing another $2000 at the car.
