Is the LS/W most popular color combo for the 07 MCS?

Just wondering if the Laser Blue/White is the most "ordered" color combo
fort he 2007 MCS.

Thanks.

Not all the colors have been available for the 07 yet.

I suspect the "Sparkling Silver" to be one of the more popular colors for 07. Where I am buying my Cooper, they have told me it is by far and away the most sold color yet for the 07.

Of course, there are more colors on the way for the 07. Some look pretty darn good.

From looking at these boards it seems like LB/W and SS are the two I see the most. We came very close to ordering both of them. Not sure why we didn't.

I think the "Dark Silver" is quite nice. I almost went with the "Sparkilng Silver", until I saw the "Nightfire Red".

I am glad I went with the "Nightfire Red w/Black". I suspect it to be fairly rare.

My favorite colors were Sparkling Silver, Dark Silver, and Chili Red. I ended up picking my car with Sparkling Silver and white roof/mirrors. As you can see in my sig, it looks great! And as of today... it has a stubby antenna! (from Freedom Design)

Yeah, I reckon dark silver with black roof and bonnet stripes is by far the most popular.

I went for the Laser blue as in the UK it's only available for the MCS and not any other models. Plus it looks cool, although it wouldn't have taken much to go for the sparkling silver.

Pure Silver was my current second choice. Let's see I have waffled around between;

1) Dark Silver
2) Sparkling Silver
3) Nightfire Red
4) Pure Silver

and then when push came to shove, I ordered "Nightfire Red". Why? Well, to tell you the truth. It is by far and away the best looking color on the Mini.

I'd have considered nightfire red very seriously if it was available on the S. Not sure why it isn't...

I thought about silver, as it would be great in Florida, especially the ligher shades. But a young lady whose opinion I value greatly said, "Silver seems like a very conservative color... older people get silver cars." While I wasn't sure I agreed, I asked my dad (who is retired) what color he would pick. He said, "One of the silver shades." His current car? Silver... AND an S.U.V.

That sealed it right there: One Lightning Blue MCS to go, please! Give it a white roof, wheels, and stripes while you're at it... Thank you, Mr. M.A!

That being said, I think the silvers are lovely shades, have no doubt. I'm not looking to offend anyone, just sharing how my decision-making process went in regards to color.

It would be interesting to know actual BMW statistics on color popularity, but I cannot imagine how we'd get them. It seems to me the silvers are the most popular, but that's just an opinion.

I think the silvers and blacks are very classy and beautiful, but conservative in some ways compared to the yellows, blues and reds. That's why I chose LB/W - I wanted something absolutely NOT conservative, and I like the fact that it's a new MCS color.
