"no holes" bumper

I see that on a lot of photos here that many of you guys don't have a license plate and holes for a license in the front bumper.
Is everyone in the US driving without a front license plate or is there a trick to attach it and remove it easely....????

for example

I hope someone can help me

Not all states require a front plate. The car comes without holes...just small dimples where the dealership can drill the mount holes if required.

Yep what Squirlz said. They don't require front plates here in Alabama

New York state requires a front license plate, but you do not have to drill holes to mount one. I use this:
http://www.gominigo.com/18545.html

Of course, I unscrew the whole thing for photos and when prepping for autocross and track days (replacing it with a tow eye).

And if you have a car with pre-drilled holes, you can always try these... They have MINI colors in the "BMW" section of the color match chart...

+1 GoMiniGo Bracket. I have it and it's great. Strong and well made, I'd recommend it to anyone that doesn't want holes in their bumper. 10 Minutes install...it's a must.

I'd contact them and givwe them the color code on the inside of your door... Since these are primarily for Porches, they use equivilent colors. Worst case - you could order them in WHITE and then get a small can of color-matched spray paint for like $5-$10. Lots of places on the web sell paint that color matches based on your color code.

It is illegal not to have a front license plate in Texas...
Most of the Mini drivers here DON'T have a front plate... our attitude here is that they have to catch us first and make us drill holes etc kicking and screaming!!!
When 'they' eventually pull me over, I will be looking into the 'no holes' plate, looks like the best option.

I'm in IL too, I have had my MCS 3.5 years now, I have been pulled over 12+ times(pulled over, mostly not ticketed though), they have never said anything about no front plate. I will never drill my bumper!

I just used hi/low temp super velcro.
Attached aero plate holder to bumper with it, then plate to the holder with the same stuff.

Front plates are required in California. My plate is mounted on one of those hangers anchored in the tow hook hole. It looks cool.
