I'm a newbie at collectibles but I have a question...Has anybody thought of having a swap at the Dragon?

 

It's been mentioned a couple of times, but I don't think there is anything official. I plan on bringing a few of my extras and see what happens.

PS Collecting becomes (very) addictive!

what type of collectibles do you have? do you have a dsm/blk top?

 

I have several diecast MINIs. What is 'dsm'? If you mean dark silver, I don't have any of those right now, but the "inventory" changes often.

Have you checked on the "mini MINI Toys" thread for one?

 

I have several red ones... I'll look at see about a DS. And we have some sort of cabin...not sure which kind.

Don't think it will be a problem, just wanted to "warn" them(Oh, by the way, we have a few hundred MINI collectors who will be stopping by at random times. No big deal, right? ).

Of course, we could make it a 'floating' swap meet and move from cabin to cabin.

Seriously though, I don't see any problem with my cabin.

Before we answer, how big is the box going to be? I've seen some of your pics, and it looks like you have a store inventory.

Honestly, if you want to try to do some swapping, I think we can help you out. Very least we can do after all you have helped us.

Of course it would be better if you just happened to show up in person.

 

Of course when I volunteered your cabin I was kidding. I suspect we will be trading stuff all weekend, when we're not driving.

 

That's what I figured but also thought it might be nice to have a place we could gather if necessary, and figured I might as well get involved.

I don't have a lot of diecast MINIs to swap right now, so I am planning on bringing other MINI stuff (ie ads and other stuff) to swap. What kind of stuff are you guys bringing?

 

If you want, I'll send you a dozen or so spare Sikus plus whatever else I can find over the next week or so...Not too much.

I'd love to be there but already made plans to be there at the end of July for the Miata gathering...I try to go every year since I first went in '99. I'd love to bring the Mini and do a back to back comparison--I love them both!

So, who's definitely going and will have room in their car for a medium-sized box of goodies to swap/give away for me?

I've got a few die cast MINIS...I pick them up whenever I find them. Are we still on??

 

I'm still planning on trying to do some swapping.

 

Box inbound to ya... 20 or so Sikus, 2 of the 1:87 sets, the LY/W 1:87 Herpa for Smokey and the 1:87 Shuco cab w/ figurines for Mini Bee. Also threw in 20 or so of those cards form the local Mini dealer.
