Dragon and Collectibles
I'm bringing a box of spares too. Nothing that special, but they might be special to someone who doesn't have them!
..Mini Scene International mags went out yesterday too. Just 1 of each for whoever wants/needs 'em. I can still get copies of issue #2 if anyone's interested.
Since it's all in German it's more like looking at Mini **** (just check it out for the pics)!

...I thought of another thing I need someone to pick up /trade some cars for... I need a few more of those little round dragon stickers that they sell at the crossroads--in black. Need the one where the dragon is actually the cutout in the oval. It's ~ 1" x 2"
Here's one in silver:

On Friday the only things we are signed up for are the Dragon Parade and Dragon Drive-In, so maybe some of us can get together sometime that day. I may carry some stuff in the MINI whenever we motor, also.
Rob, we'll see what we can do to help you get those decals and placards. BTW, my wife got a kick out of the "MINI ****" comment when she saw the magazines.

Thanks ya'll... Wish I could be there but I did take my Mini out for a sporting weekend.
Drove my favorite road over here from K-Town through the mountains to the wine country then kept heading south for another hour. You see I had a few apointments to keep--I was lucky enough to get invited to a pretty cool open house...
I just got back from 2 days in Stuttgart/Zuffenhausen test driving new Porsches at the factory's Porsche dealership! I really like the new Cayman S a lot... The Cayenne S I drove pretty extensively around teh German countryside was pretty cool for an SUV too...makes all the right noises and unbelievable handling for such a large vehicle.
There was a 997 C4S there that was more expensive than the GT-3 belonging to a guy I met.
IT had teh X-51 engine and PCCBs--very spendy. Turns out the guy and I have a mutual friend who has one of teh old style Audi RS-4s (twin turbo V-6) and he just upgraded to T-04s!
Can't wait to join 'em at the 'Ring. Wonder if they'll be able to keep up w/ the Mini?
Seriously thinking about the Cayman though--and throwing in an X51 engine plus the GT-3 front end a la Farnbacher Loles' GTR.
BTW, I got invited to Ruf's open house in mid-June!
