My oBDII Scanner is reading a P1477 trouble code, Service engine soon is lit. erasing the code from EMC works for a day or so, the light comes back again.

The P1477 code is not clearly documented other than two possible definitions, "MFC malfunction (Medium Fan Control)" according to most DTC tables on the WEB or "Leakage Diagnostic Pump Reed Switch Did Not Open" according to BWM DTC Tables onthe Web.

the car is working fine, same power, same boost. Can anyone shed light on the P1477 DTC and possible solutions..?

I got nothing - you might try posting this in the under the bonnet section. what year is your car? Have you tried calling the service department at your dealer with the code info?
