As suggestion from a thread over in OT; thought it would be a good idea for those of us who don't have plans on Wed night to go hang out for a while. Thought I'd check on the intrest before we decide a place and exact time, just an informal get together.

Me niether, but its all a matter of what you order right? I hear Hooter has good chicken wings, so its certainly an option but I must confess I've never been there myself.

 

I didnt think that it was possible to never have been to hooters...but i have been proved wrong. and Yes, they do have good wings. but i am open to other options.

 

Doesn't that mean they're closed? Saw it on National Geographic it was just too good an oppurtunity to pass up.

 

I'd be willing to show up...... But with this weather does it mean I have to take the MINI out of storage, or can I use the 4x4 for what its worth!!!!!

Don't know just where in DuPage County SRICHS is; if you want to do Hooters the only one I know of is in Shuamburg but they aren't exactly something I look out for either, Addison area looks like geographically the most central location but I'm clueless about what the local Hooters situation is

I'd also be up for another Fox and Hound or Portillos meet.

Fox and Hound is a Resturant with a bar area pool tables and big screen TVs, where we did a few of the Bears meets (if we had done a Superbowl one they'd have won) its a few blocks from Patrick MINI and I think they have a DuPage County location too. But I'll try to keep from getting you lost

Oh and I fogot to mention it before 4x4s are ok, just bring something MINI so we can figure out who you are

Of our friend from DuPage is willing to motor up; I can say Fox and Hound has some of the better Burgers I've had, and there are a few others than can vouch for some of the other menu items.

Sounds good to me as I'm on an entirely flexible schedule, my only question concern would be for those who have to work and would have a bit of a drive over. I suppose if we met at six and someone had that case but could join up reasonably soon afterward cause we aren't planning on a large amount of driving.

Bump. Let's plan it this year and get a decent showing, Fox and Hound, Hooters, Stake and Shake all work for me(yay 21) (but if I remember right we'd need reservations for hooters it was so packed last year )
