Hi everyone, this is not a m2c2 sponsored event. Spring is just around the corner and time to Shine up those Mini's and show'm off. Miller Lite, Coors Light and American National Insurance are the major sponsors and show is presented by the Tega Cay Lions Club. Vendors such as Town Tavern of Fort Mill and Burks BBQ from Rock Hill are just a couple. Show is limited to 1000 vehicles. Pre-registration fee is $15 and $20 day of show if openings are available. Rain date if needed will be 4-28-2007. Go to www.carolinamotormadness.com. Show will be at Knights Stadium, Fort Mill SC. Take I-77 to exit 88 just south of NC/SC Border. Show 8AM - 3pm with 25 judged classes and Throphies. 50/50 drawing, tons of door prizes and pre-registrants eligible for exclusive Drawing. Great Food WSOC 103.7 Live Broadcast. I may be just plain stupid, but what does "bump" mean?

 

It's a way to "bump" the thread up to the top of the forum list, display it in bold, get people to read it, remind people of it...

Bump is just forum speak, like NWS for Not Work Safe, meaning naughty pictures, language and the like so don't click on that forum/link/message if you're at work--unless of course you work in a VERY liberal environment. ;-)

BTW, can you tell I spend too much time on the net?

We were joking at Chris' garage that somebody should start a forum for all us forum junkies. ;-)

Just wondering, any of you planning to participate in this event? It is open to vehicles of all types, new and old. Looks as if it's going to be rather large! As of the middle of this past week, there were already over 100 cars pre-registered. Many more will show up the day of the event.

There will be cash prizes to winners in a variety of categories.

 

I have entered my Mini and hope we have some others. I just like going to car shows to see the others and every now and then you might win something? Just lots of fun and this one seems to be big one just like the FoodLion Autofare at Lowes, so come on and lets get some Mini's out there. Don't forget your cooler and camera and of course cleaning supplies! Luke

Today was a wonderful day at Knights Stadium. Luke fortunately remembered the camera!!!. There were three of us from Charlotte and one of our members from Columbia there. Steve Treece was working hard Zanioing and Ultrashielding. One of our group Sean who we haven't seen in awhile stopped by and is planning for more autocrossing events. The day culminated in a Win by M2C2 -- our Prez [chrome and bling] brought in a well deserved trophy for our class. Although he should have been tops, he was the second place winner. A decked out PT cruiser [yes we were in the class with them -- makes sense huh] took home the crown in our class. Thank God for sunscreen and beer and a few umbrellas. I think we must get a canopy before the next show. My bald head, and the head of the Prez are at risk for becoming very very burned.

What do you mean might get burned, I am toast!! We had a good time and the cold beer helped alot. There were over 600 entires of all cars and trucks and motorcycles. Alot of sunburned people including me, but if you enjoy this type of thing it was great. Lowes AUTOFAIR coming up so hope we can get a few more interested. We are going to try to get a tent for this one. Thanks to our members who showed. Several more came by but did not enter the show, they were just looking at all the fine autos. Also thanks to Hendrick who lent Steve a Mini to demonstrate Zaino and ultrashield on! So sign up for the AUTOFAIR!
