Since I am the first in the USA with these, I thought I would post some pictures. MybeautifulMINI and GMG are trying to bring these to the USA market. They have been available on RHD cars for a while in the UK thru MbM. Here is the first set of LHD caps. They are really gorgeous! What do you think?

Well, THOSE are kinda groovy.

I have to say, though, that while they look neat close up, from a few feet away, they look like chromies with a bunch of tape stuck on 'em. At least from the pic.

what about a polished metal-look mirror cover? just like the Audi S4 and S6 have. aluminum would be nice. can any one do that or is it already available?

 

I was thinking of doing something like that when I noticed the RHD ones..
I was wondering what it would look like on my chrome mirrors..

I have a DS/S with chrome.. and I thought these would be great with my silver/black MINI Eyes under the hood..

I will say that they do look better and more detailed than what is in the long shot. I think it is time for a new/better camera...

Close up the darker areas look like two different levels of bead blasting. quite nice.

So are those replacement mirror caps?

Bimmian.com sells something that would give a similar look if you already have chrome mirror caps. They are vinyl decals that fit on your mirror caps; the decals do not cover your entire mirror cap so your cap's color makes up part of the Union Jack design.

I bet if you pick shades of grey for the decal, it would look similar to GoMiniGo's mirror caps.

I wonder what they'd look like in the red and blue theme. If I wanted chrome mirrors those would definitely be my first pick though.
