MSRP for Cabrio

With the coming of the R57, has anyone seen any east coast dealers selling '07 cabrios below MSRP? or is everyone still charging full MSRP?

R57 isn't expected until early 2009 in the states. I doubt that you'll see any discounts for a car that is 2 years away.

Sorry meant to include the R56 in first post: is any of this affecting actual prices or is it still MSRP?

No. '07 MCS Cabrios are selling at MSRP based on all my inquiries.

If you go a little inland....

Here is a link to Cincinnati Mini. They are offering a discount on select 06 Mini's. I know you said 07 but not much difference if any. And for $850 that can buy some mod's. Also check the new car inventory.

Here in OKC it's MSRP (unless there has been a VERY recent change).

I paid MSRP for mine this month in CT. When I suggested otherwise the salesguy looked at me like I had three eyes...LOL.

They were really pushing an 06 MCSC in Silver in the Showroom I was at, and I would have considered it if it had LSD...but it did not...was offered at 1500 off MSRP.

I emailed most Mini Dealers up and down the entire Eastern Seaboard, looking for the config I wanted in an 06 - none were available. Seems LSD is kinda rare in a MCSC.

Did notice many dealers had 500-1000 off on their 06's MCs, listed right on their homepage.

So had to order an 07, at MSRP...did manage to get floormats and a WindScreen tossed in...Delivery date - Early March!

Another thing, make sure you get to a credit union for your auto loan...if you are not a member, join...

Currently rates at mine are a *full* 2 points below Pittsburgh National Bank's rates; Credit union on a 5 year loan - %5.25.

At the dealer, when they found out I was going thru a credit union, they didn't even bother with the MINI or BMW financing...pretty much conceded they could not match or beat a credit union...without even finding out what rate I had been quoted...they basically gave up. Go credit union.

Just paid MSRP in the boston area this last weekend. Might have been able to do something on a 06 but even that might have taken some work.
