I will be there Thursday - Saturday.

 

We'll be there. Still debating on whether or not to bring both MINIs.

 

We'll be there arriving Thursday leaving Sunday. Ditto on the debate to bring both Minis. It has been a while since my wife's S2000 has been on the Dragon and she really wants to bring it.

 

I'll be there too, Thursday thru Sunday. Sadly just 1 MINI, but two people.

Alright, that makes 4 of us, just 5 to go.

 

I just got off the phone with Mike at Blue Water and they have one room (possibly two) still left!!

 

Wow, folks must be bouncing around with the reservations!
They told me Monday that we got the last room. I wasn't expecting the big room shuffle to happen until a couple of weeks before MOTD

 

Actually they were holding a room for me, because I stayed there last year. But do to my involvement with the welcome dinner, I felt it would be best to stay at Fontana. I just my confirmation from Fontana today, so I called Mike to let him know

 

Well Snooter I think I got your room! Thanks for the heads up. Is it time to go yet?

Michael and I will be at Blue Waters for our fourth year staying there. We like it because it is quiet and out of the way and very peaceful. And the drive up to Fontana is fun. We are bringing both MINIs.

I have a room from Thurs - Sat available. My wife can't make it and she thinks it a bad idea to bring my 5 yr old son 800+ miles down & back from NY.

Any takers? On the room I mean.

I'd love to come but need to bring the little guy as she'll be working and can't watch him. He might not get into days of road wear and tear.

Did the Ticket collectors get a picture of all of them together?

 

No, we managed to get a couple of pictures of us all holding our growlers full of beer, but forgot to get one of the cooper pooper trooper or the collection of tickets. Since I don't want to restage it next year, a photoshopped version will have to suffice

I sent e-mail to Mike and Maury thanking them and reserving for next year, but haven't heard back anything yet.

 

It was nice meating everyone there. i reserved Fontana next year.

Did you guys get a bunch of letters from lawyers in the area? I got 3 today from some pretty obvious ambulance chasers offering their "expertise" in getting the tickets reversed. That's quite a business they have going up there

 

So the cops contact the lawyers and supply them all of your information? Yeah thats insane.
